Ted and the Kid (1976)

A depressed Ted asks Mary for some help. Ted and Georgette have been trying to have a baby for some time, but it just doesn't seem to be happening for them. Ted wants Georgette to go see a doctor to see if there is any medical issue preventing them from having a child, which Georgette refuses to do. After Mary speaks to Georgette about the issue, both Georgette and Ted agree to go see their respective doctors to get checked. Regardless, one other option that Georgette suggests, and that Mary hopes they will consider but doesn't want to meddle by giving her opinion, is adoption. But the Baxters may throw both the adoption process and Mother Nature for a bit of a loop.
